Partisan media and modern censorship
Obsah
Partisan media and modern censorship: Media influence on Czech political partisanship and the media's creation of limits to public opposition and control of exercising power in the Czech Republic in the 1990s focuses on the role of the media, information, advertising tools and procedures during the formation of the political scene and the influencing political decisions and division of the executive power. It is the media’s point of view, the media picture of the political scene, which can replace the empirical verification of citizens and their own knowledge. This selection of information and the subsequent creation of a virtual reality in which partisanship and media dependence on advertising curry favour with the owners, publishers, government and government parties reduces the competence of the public. As a result, the social costs and the losses are increasing due to the lack of controls misuse of power, clientelism and corruption.
