Anotace
Powder injection moulding (PIM) is a net shape, multi-stage production technique for manufacturing complex geometry parts in high production volumes. PIM process involves four main production stages: mixing, injection moulding, debinding and sintering. For such multi-stage processing technique, the deliberate choice of component materials can significantly reduce the defect formations during consequent stages, as well as positively influence the energy efficiency, while reducing processing time. The aim of the thesis was to study the role of particular binder components and their interactions with mould channel walls, for development of a novel, environmentally friendly feedstocks.
