Anotace
The work analyses the basic aspects, causes and consequences of the European integration process´s current state and examines performance of individual EU countries. The analysis is performed from the point of view of five crises: 1st political and institutional 2nd public finances (debt) 3rd competitiveness and differences in qualities of individual economies 4th banking, financial, or economic and the 5th crisis that relates to the psychological aspect of trust. The analysis covers substantial measures proposed or implemented by the EU institutions (common bonds, tax on financial transactions, banking union, Fiscal Compact and bail-out fund), including critical evaluation of these measures (especially the activist policy of the European Central Bank). Summary and a more complex concept is presented in SWOT analysis, the work offers potential for further development, as well as some recommendations for the Czech Republic.
