Anotace

This collection was created on the basis of selected scientific studies presented at the International Czech—Slovak—Polish Conference “Family – Health – Disease” that was organized by the Institute of Health Sciences of the Faculty of Humanities of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. Co-organizers of this prestigious event were the Faculty of Health, Catholic University in Ružomberok and Krakowska Akademia Andrzeja Frycz Modrzewskiego in Krakow. Knowledge linking three neighbouring countries that have much in common, but also differ in many respects, regarding research approaches and strategies in relation to issues of family, health and disease, we consider to be very important.
