Anotace
The Bohemian Massif is slightly extending recent borders of the Czech Republic and represents the easternmost block of the Variscan Orogen cropping out from the Mesozoic and Cenozoic platform cover (Chlupáč et al. 2002). Bohemian Massif represents a complicated geological area composed of four major crustal fragments that originated within the Avalonian-Cadomian Orogenic Belt placed north to north-west of the African Gondwana during the late Neoproterozoic and Early Palaeozoic (e.g., Moldanubicum s.l., Saxothuringicum, Moravosilesicum and Bohemicum with the Teplá-Barrandian Unit).
